Ethylene Oxide is one of the organic compounds, the chemical formula is C2H4O, also called ETO. The molecular weight is 44, so 1mg/m3(ETO) = 0.509ppm(ETO), 1ppm(ETO)=1.964mg/m3(ETO). It is toxic, previous used to made the fungicides. Ethylene Oxide with the features of flammable and explosive, so not suitable for long-distance transport. Also widely used to the washing, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing industry. In the chemical industry, as the starting agent of the cleaning agent.

In the workshop or office, many countries have the regulations on the ETO gas concentration, in China, the allowed highest gas concentration in workshop is about 1ppm, so the low alarm level could set as the 1ppm.

At present, the medical equipments are usually used the ETO to sterilization. So, the ETO gas detector customers most are from the medical equipments company, hospital, cosmetics company, etc. ETO gas detector mainly used to detect the remained ETO gas concentration. Usually we set the measuring range of 0~10ppm, resolutions as the 0.01ppm, but this could could be customized for different customers.
