Four installation elements must be understood before installing combustible gas alarm.

2021-7-1      View:

A combustible gas leakage detector is an instrument for detecting combustible gas leakage in the operation site. Only when it is installed correctly, can it give full play to the detection function of the instrument. The following is the installation of gas detectors need to understand and master the four elements and related installation requirements.

0 (3)(2)

First--explosion-proof requirements

We usually call the environment containing explosive mixture explosive environment.

In general, electrical equipment used in an explosive environment should have explosion-proof properties, and the gas detector is no exception. The equipment used in an explosive environment needs an explosion-proof certificate needle. The detector with an explosion-proof certificate can detect the concentration value of combustible gas normally and accurately in the environment to be tested to meet the needs of the on-site environment.

Second--installation position

The installation position of the machine is very important, and the installation deviation or installation in the position vulnerable to interference will affect the detection effect of the detector.

According to relevant provisions, the setting of gas concentration detection alarm shall meet the following requirements:

(1) When detecting gas lighter than air, the horizontal distance between detection alarm and gas appliance or valve shall not be greater than 8m, and the installation height shall be within 0.3m from the top.

(2) When detecting the gas heavier than air, the horizontal distance between the detection alarm and the gas appliance or valve shall not be greater than 4m, and the installation height shall be within 0.3m from the ground.

Third--waterproof and rainproof requirements

The gas detector is a precision instrument. If it is invaded by water, it will affect the detection effect. If it is seriously invaded, it will even damage the internal components, leading to probe failure. Especially for the detector installed outdoors, it is more necessary to prepare for waterproof and rainproof, such as installing rainproof cover and other equipment for the detector and doing a good job in maintaining the probe.

Fourth--wiring requirements

To ensure the stability of the probe power supply and the accuracy of signal transmission, we need to have strict requirements on the wiring of the instrument.
