The detection points of combustible gas and toxic gas detectors should be based on the physical and chemical properties of the gas, characteristics of the release source, production site layout, geographical conditions, environmental climate, operation and inspection routes, etc., and should be selected where the gas is easy to accumulate and convenient for sampling and detection.

Detection points should be arranged for the following main release sources that may leak flammable gases and toxic gases:

1 .Seals of gas compressors and liquid pumps;

2.Liquid sampling port and gas sampling port;

3.Liquid drain (water) port and vent port;

4.Flange and valve sets for equipment and piping.
