Description:
The OC-9500 β-Ray Online Dust Monitoring System adopts the working principle of the β-Ray absorption method. It can automatically measure and record the concentration of particulate matter in ambient air. Using C-14 as the radiation source, which emits constant high-energy electrons, the sample air passes through the sampling tube at a constant flow rate via a cutter, and particulate matter is trapped on the filter membrane. When beta rays penetrate the filter membrane, their energy attenuates. The mass of particulate matter is calculated by measuring the attenuation. Based on the sampling flow rate, sampling duration, filter membrane area and environmental parameters, the working condition concentration and standard condition concentration of particulate matter in ambient are derived.
